Changes to the rules on car tax will come into force in just 47 days, and could change what you have to pay every year to keep your vehicle on the road.
For new car owners, the rules which kick in on April 1, 2017, will mean seven out of 10 pay more thanks to the revised Vehicle Excise Duty tax bands.
In fact, some of the most popular cars, once considered the height of ‘eco-friendly’ will now cost their owners an extra more than £900 over five years.
