From The Yorkshire Times.
A collection of photographs depicting some of the best loved locations across the Yorkshire Dales, as well as some less well known views, have been brought together for a charity calendar that will raise money to support the local area.
Seasonal scenes from all corners of the Yorkshire Dales are featured in the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) 2018 calendar. Images include the iconic wildflower meadows at Muker, Ruskin’s much loved view of the River Lune near Kirkby Lonsdale, and a frosty Redmire bathed in winter sun.
Some local residents also feature in this celebration of the Dales, including sheep and a red squirrel.
The images were brought together through an annual photography competition run in collaboration with Yorkshire Cottages – a long standing supporter of YDMT.
