Story by Alex Ross in The Press.
A hit Channel 4 show will feature amateur cooks and dinner hosts from York next week.
Come Dine With Me follows four incompatible strangers as they cook a three course meal for each other in their own home.
The show will be broadcast at 5pm on Tuesday and see contestants from York and the surrounding area try to outdo one another before they rate the night out of ten, with the winner taking home a £1,000 jackpot.
One of those competing for the top prize is Craig Wilby, of Willow Waters Fishery, in Pocklington.
The 42-year-old used his own produce on the show as he cooked his meal during filming for fellow guests Ollie, Nicola and Svenja.
Mr Wilby dished up a bruschetta starter with salsa and Aylesbury duck eggs, a fish pie main course and chocolate ganache dessert.
He said: “I have always liked cooking and wanted to do this to try and win the £1,000 for charity.”
