Disabled Access Day – York Theatre Royal – Saturday 11th March

Disabled Access Day began as a day to celebrate good access and create opportunities for people to try something new. The day is about highlighting the fantastic access that already exists, such as touch tours, relaxed performances, sensory experiences, level access and of course a warm welcome!

We would like to welcome visitors to our venue during Disabled Access Day (11.00 am to 4 pm) to showcase improved access and facilities and the services available such as Audio Described performances, British Sign Language (BSL) and Relaxed Performances and to show what a warm welcome we give to all of our visitors!

Disabled Access Day is sponsored by Euan’s Guide: a listing and review site that helps disabled people, their friends and families know which venues that are accessible.
