From BBC News.

A woman with chronic fatigue syndrome has accused Manchester Airport of treating her like “cargo” and “cattle” following a long-haul flight.

Jessica Stafford, 29, booked a special assistance service as she needed help to move through the airport.

But she found the experience “distressing” and “humiliating” after being asked to walk to collect her own wheelchair.

The airport has launched an investigation.

Ms Stafford, from Blackburn, had booked the service as part of her journey home from visiting family abroad earlier this month.

But when the plane landed, she was told there was no staff member available to provide the service and asked to “walk around the corner to get a wheelchair”.
