An interview between Jeff and Mattie who has undergone a CCI Fusion operation in the hope of reversing ME.

 

Mattie is a 47 year old web developer. He lives in a small town in the Netherlands with his wife, his 17 year old son, and their two golden retrievers. Mattie came down with ME and POTS in January, 2016.

Hello, Mattie. At the time of this interview, you are three months post-op from your fusion surgery. Congrats!

Full improvement can take up to a year and sometimes longer. So, three months is too soon to know your final outcome. That being said, what changes have you noticed so far, in terms of POTS, PEM, sleep, cognition, and any other symptoms you’d like to discuss?

Hi Jeff. Thank you for inviting me for this interview on your blog. Your story has been an inspiration for me.

Indeed, it is still early days. Symptoms have been fluctuating quite a bit in the last 3 months. Ever since my fusion surgery, I have experienced the following positive changes:
