What is Scope Role Models?

• One hour workshops for secondary school students, hosted by Scope and a disabled role model.
• In a relaxed style, we talk about issues like attitudes, stereotyping and how they impact the lives of disabled people.
• We then open up for a question and answer session with the students. This provides the students with an opportunity to get an insight into the reality of being a disabled person in modern Britain.
• We will use these sessions to dispel myths, change perceptions and promote confidence and positive attitudes.
