With less than six months to go until the Special Olympic Games are held in Sheffield, people are starting to look at the city and things to do while they are here.
Sheffield, as The Outdoor City, has an abundance of parks, woods and countryside accessible for people with disabilities, with well surfaced paths and accessible facilities.
Sheffield City Council, working with Disability Sheffield and Accessible Derbyshire, has pulled together a list of ‘must visit’ destinations with Damflask Reservoir, Endcliffe Park, Millhouses Park and Manor Fields Park all making the list.
