Vitamin B12 is required by the body to make red blood cells, according to the NHS.

It’s also used to keep the nervous system healthy, and helps with the production of DNA.

Vitamin B12 deficiency symptoms include headaches, fatigue, and a loss of appetite.

Some small changes to your diet plan could lower your risk of a vitamin B12 deficiency.

One of the best B12-rich foods is clams, according to dietitian Arlene Semeco.
