Get Wise To Flying With A Disablity

From British Healthcare Trades Association.

Planning a holiday or travel as a disabled person or with a disabled family member can seem challenging.

The question asked when it comes to offering travel options for people with disabilities or injuries is ‘how can travel change to positively benefit people’s lives and increase their independence?’ BHTA are working in partnership with QEF’s (Queen Elizabeth Foundation)  TryB4uFly service to raise the awareness of the questions you need to consider when travelling.

Working together BHTA and QEF have produced a “Get Wise to flying with a Disability” which was launched at the QEF Mobility Day on the 6th October 2017.

The guide can be downloaded from the following link.

For further information about the QEF service please contact one of their centres below.

TryB4uFly enables disabled people to try out various seating and transfer options in real aircraft seating, with an expert to give advice. The best option can then be rented or bought from QEF.
