Morrisons is launching three seasonal veg boxes, with a standard box costing just £5. Three options will be available: a wonky veg box for £3, a standard box for £5, and an organic box for £8. A standard box contains 4.2kg of veg including a kilo of carrots, a kilo of onions, 500g of cauliflower and the same of swede, 400g of savoy, 300g of courgettes and 500g of leeks. The other boxes contain a similar amount. While the vegetables will be sourced from sixty British growers across the country, some of the wonky veg box produce may come from overseas.
The boxes will be available nationwide from September 28, and can be ordered online from the 2nd October.
