A drama charting the early life of Queen Victoria is to film in York on Friday 6 Nov.
ITV’s Victoria, starring Doctor Who’s Jenna Coleman as the formidable monarch, is set in London, but parts will be filmed in North Yorkshire.
Crews will be in York on Friday evening to shoot scenes for the upcoming show, which is Coleman’s first post-Doctor Who project following her stint as the time lord’s companion Clara Oswald.
Restrictions will be put in place around Ogleforth, Chapter House Street, College Street and Deangate between 6pm and midnight tomorrow to allow filming to take place.
