Four more community groups in York will be able to bid for vital money, when the city hosts its third York Soup fundraiser.
The next of the crowd-funding meals will be held on December 2 at the Spurriergate Centre, in Spurriergate.
Doors will open at 6pm, with pitches at 6.30pm and soup at 7pm. The winner will be announced at 8pm.
The events are based on the successful Detroit Soup fundraisers, where dining donors have given projects more than $85,000 in small grants in five years.
In York, people pay £10 plus a £1.50 booking fee for a ticket, which entitles them to a meal and a vote. Ticket-holders then listen to pitches for four projects, then vote for who should receive all the money from ticket sales.
The only criteria for pitches is that they must benefit York.
