York is to host a Sky Ride for the fourth year running, offering another traffic-free bike ride around the city for thousands of cycling enthusiasts.

Streets will be closed to traffic on Sunday, September 11, to allow cyclists of all ages and abilities to ride safely together.

Organisers British Cycling and Sky say the event will again provide a free fun day out, with a real festival atmosphere, for families and friends to enjoy.

They are urging people to register their free place ahead of the event to take advantage of some special offers, and to encourage their family and friends to do the same.
